Last weekend I went to visit a friend in Washington D.C. We visited all the famous places such as The White House, U.S. Capitol, Arlington Cemetery, Lincoln Memorial and many more.
There are also a lot of interesting museums in the same area. We went to the National Museum of Natural History and the National Air and Space Museum. In that last one we saw an IMAX movie about the International Space Station and in the Einstein Planetarium we watched Cosmic Collisions.
DC is definitely a great place to visit. I could have easily spent a few more days visiting the other museums, the Botanic Garden and other places but unfortunately a weekend only lasts 2 days
