ubuntu dos2unix

if you can’t find dos2unix on Ubuntu, apt-get install sysutils

  2. nowadays (Ubuntu 6.10) you need to install the tofrodos package if you want to use the dos2unix command

  6. Definate thank you–also found on my second Google link search after attempting ‘aptitude search dos2unix’ at my shell prompt to no avail. Problem solved with the tofrodos package.
