Headpiece

The Flemish newspaper ‘De Morgen‘ is offering a series of 20 books about the 20 most important people in Western Philosophy. The series is called ‘Kopstukken Filosofie‘, what translates in Headpieces Philosophy, but that is not really a good translation I guess :-)

Every wednesday you can be a new book for only 5 euro if you cut out a coupon in the newspaper. Since I’m still working part-time in the Netherlands, my brother is so kind to get these books for me.
At this moment, I already have 4 books: Socrates, Plato, Aristoteles and Aquino. It aren’t really big books, only about 140 pages a book that give an introduction in the work of these great minds, written by people from Oxford University.

That’s all I can really say about these books because I haven’t actually starting to read them yet.
Finding time is always the hardest part and I’m still busy reading another book at this moment, The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. Also, I borrowed some of my brother’s manga comics: Black Jack ni yoroshiku by Syuho Sato (it’s actually the first manga I ever read).

I will try to make some time to catch up with my reading because I have even more unfinished books spread across my appartment.
